Douglas D. Adair

Douglas D. Adair is a founding partner and managing member (with Taryn N. Evans) of the Law Firm- Adair Evans, L.L.C. a boutique family law firm that serves clients throughout the State of Utah.  Mr. Adair is the past Chair (and current member) of the Utah State Bar Family Law Executive Committee. Mr. Adair is also a former partner and shareholder of another law firm. Mr. Adair has also been the President of the Davis County Bar Association and was a member of the Utah State Court’s Domestic Process Improvement Committee.  Mr. Adair is also a member of the American Inns of Court and has participated as a panelist and leader of numerous professional legal presentations. Mr. Adair graduated from the University of  Utah College of Law in 1993 and also received a B.S. degree in Finance from the University of Utah School of Business in 1990. After law school graduation, Mr. Adair clerked for a District Court Judge in the State of Idaho, and then began his private practice career as an associate in a Salt Lake City Law Firm where he practiced commercial litigation and represented major Utah financial institutions. Mr. Adair brings those civil litigation skills to his family law practice- where he maintains a substantial trial practice. In addition to his Firm work, Mr. Adair volunteers regularly for various charitable groups- including Safe Harbor and others.
